MICHAEL Fassbender has FINALLY opened up about falling in love with Alicia Vikander.
The glamorous pair fell in love while filming The Light Between Oceans almost two years ago but have been staunchly private about their relationship ever since.
However, the Irish actor did reveal a little about their romance while chatting to Richard Arnold on Good Morning Britain.
Richard asked the 39-year-old: “Is it hard for you when everyone wants to ask you about her?”
While he usually avoid questions about Alicia, Michael replied: “No, it’s not hard. I just answer what I want to answer.
“It just happened. It’s good that it happened. It is what it is.
The pair are currently promoting their new flick which tells the story of a lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia who raise a baby they rescue from an adrift rowboat.
Despite being fiercely private about their relationship, Alicia recently spoke to Porter magazine about their romance.
She said: “We’ve never hidden the fact that we’re a couple… He’s extremely hardworking. He was like, ‘Give me something new! I just need a new idea. I need to do it differently’. I just thought that was cool.”

He said: “The chemistry was immediate, the spark, the intensity.
“I said early on, ‘This girl frightens me’.
“She’s so fierce and brave . . . it kind of bowled me over.
He continued: “We really relied on, pushed and supported one another, then we had fun as well.
“We would have a laugh.”
Interrupting, Alicia reminded him: “We had BB guns, we played a lot of music.
“We surfed, fished, had barbecues, film nights.”
Michael agreed, adding: “Crayfish-catching.
“And there was a comedy element to this — me trying to round up a goat, which I got frustrated about.
“It looked a little odd I suppose, me trying to take a goat from behind.”
Laughing Alicia added: “That was my highlight for sure.
“We also had our hipflasks with hot whisky.
Pretty simple stuff, because we were away from everything.”
The Light Between Oceans is in cinemas now.
