What happens in the Tomb Raider trailer?
The new two minute trailer shows Alicia getting stuck in to the action, running through a forest at high speed before pulling out a bow and arrow and taking aim at an enemy.
She then enters a swish office block bearing her name where she is told that her “father is gone” but she “can pick up where he left off”.
Alicia’s character then unlocks a secret bunker where she watches a video recording from her father, played by Dominic West.
The Swedish actress is also seen jumping off a boat into the raging Devil’s Sea during a storm.
She then washes up on an island with flashes to lots of action packed sequences including her jumping across a rusting plane so she doesn’t fall into a thundering waterfall.
Cutting between the clips in red are the words, Her Legend Begins before an arrow slices through the movie’s title.
